We’ve been instrumental in the development of the STB industry, delivering significant teams to many of the leading OEMs.
During a recent customer engagement we provided coverage across the whole STB software development stack – from low level drivers through to the UI layer – bringing our experience in areas such as device drivers, audio video content manipulation and security.
We recently worked with a customer in the design and development of a cloud based broadcast automation system. We provided a team of engineers to work on an advanced, integrated playout platform for broadcast television with more than 1500 channels on-air around the world. The team concentrated on feature development and fixing defects within the player part of the Windows-based multiple application playout platform.
We’ve helped to develop a number of mobile TV applications for a range of mobile operating systems including iOS, Android and Windows Phone. These applications communicated with the mobile carrier’s cloud for electronic program guide access, subscription plans information, customer’s selected subscriptions. RTSP/RTP/RTCP technologies were used for the channels’ streams access.
