Mobica is delighted to announce that we have been chosen for the Queen’s Award for Enterprise, the UK’s highest accolade for business success.
The award focused on Mobica’s international trade, of which the company has grown exponentially over the recent years, and comes at a time when Mobica is creating hundreds of new jobs every year both in the UK and abroad for technology professionals.
Mobica’s international business accounts for 69% of the company’s turnover. With a staff of over 1000 employees, over 80% of them work overseas from our offices in Poland, the US and Mexico, for customers in nearly 40 countries worldwide.
This is a landmark year for the award, chosen by the Prime Minister and the Queen of England, as it’s the 50th year since it started and the Queen’s 90th birthday year, making her the oldest reigning monarch.
Mobica provides software development, testing and consultancy services to world-leading technology companies in the fields of Automotive, Semiconductor, Mobile, TV & Broadcasting, FinTech and Marine, Defence & Aerospace. Since our inception in 2004, we have grown at an impressive 36% year on year and have gained internationally renowned customers including Intel, Vodafone, TomTom and Airbus.
No stranger to winning awards, Mobica has an impressive list of accolades under its belt, including The London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain 2015 and the AI Sector Performance Award’s Best UK Software Company 2015. Mobica also currently has two staff members up for the Insider’s Young Professional of the Year awards.
“This is probably the most prestigious award we’ve ever won”, said Nick Stammers, founder of Mobica. “It is very gratifying to have your company honoured by both the PM and the Queen, and our staff are thrilled that their hard work is getting the recognition it deserves.”
Mobica will go to Buckingham Palace on July 16th to receive the award.
